Common Bad chemicals found in hygiene and cleaning products, and a few other things to avoid

Just because you see “Natural” or Organic on a product does not necessarily mean that there are no harmful ingredients in them. Be sure to do you research. After all, poop is natural.

If the ingredients are not labeled, do not put it in your cart until you have done your research.

Fragrance/Parfum can be anything, so unless the “fragrance/parfum” is labeled with its fragrance/parfumed ingredients, avoid products that just state fragrance/parfum.

a few ingredients found in many products:

-Water/Aqua
-(natural)Fragrance/Parfum
-citric acid
-guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride
-tetrasodium EDTA
-sodium chloride
-Sodium Laureth Sulfate
-Sodium Lauryl Sulfate
-Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone
glycerin
-Sodium Benzoate (also found in drinks, ice cream, and other products)
-*Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice [Aloe Vera]-*look up- add link
-linalool
-CARBOMER

Try to avoid AcetaminophenAluminium, Teflon and PFOA (Perfluorooctanoic acid) commonly found in non-stick products. Avoid any man-made chemical until you have done your research.

Look for non-GMO products, but still look at the ingredients. If your getting things in a can, be sure the can is BPA free (non BPA)

If an item has a long list of ingredients, it’s better to avoid it all together. But be sure that the “long” list is not clarifying its ingredients with (….) to identify what was used, or clarification (type of plant, oil…)

you can do research on any ingredient you desire to know more about, which I would highly recommend. Our children, the planet Earth, and the future generations need our help

Once you have started and took the time, you will know what is safe to get and shopping made much easier and healthier
